이번 10월 30일부터 11월 1일까지 창원컨벤션센터에서 진행된 한국물리학회(The Korean Physical Society) 가을학술논문발표회에서 개최된 학부생 포스터 발표에서 양자물질초전도연구단(Center for Quantum Materials and Superconductivity)의 학부연구생 강지훈, 김인철, 신수현이 팀으로 참여하여 우수상을 수상하였다. 포스터 발표 제목은 “Synthesis and pressure effects on the La doped CaFe₂As₂” 으로서 샘플 제작에 직접 참여한 경험을 바탕으로 하여 PPMS(Physical Properties Measurement System) 장비를 이용하여 저온, 고압 상태에서 전기적 저항을 측정한 실험이었다. 이 연구는 양자물질초전도 연구단 박두선 교수님의 지도하에 대학원생 서순범, 이상연의 도움을 받아 수행되었다.

Jihoon, Incheol and Soohyeon who are undergraduate students in CQMS received a best poster presentation award from The Korean Physical Society Fall Meeting. They attended the meeting for poster competition for undergraduate students. The subject of their research was “Synthesis and pressure effects on the La doped CaFe₂As₂” This work was performed under the guidance of Professor Tuson Park and aided by graduate students S. Seo and S .Lee from CQMS. The Korean Physical Society (KPS 2013) Fall Meeting was held at Changwon Convention Center(10/30~11/1, Changwon-si, South Korea).
