    4. Title : “Structural, Magnetic and Transport Properties of Bulk and Thin Film Magneto-electronic Materials”

     5. Abstract : 

       Two novel magnetoelectronic materials, a Heusler alloy, Co2TiGe and perovskite oxide dilute magnetic semiconductor(DMS), SrSn(1-x)(Fe,Sb)xO3 were synthesized in bulk and thin film forms and their structural, magnetic and transport properies investigated. Results show that Co2TiGe is a defect free half metallic ferromagnet suitable for spin injection in spintronic devices shile SrSn(1-x)(Fe,Sb)xO3, is a transparent DMS with ferromagnetic order at room temperature suitable for magnetooptoelectonic device applications.
