The Fifth International Workshop on the Dual Nature of f-Electrons (IWDN 2014) will be held in Suwon, Korea during May 29-31, 2014. IWDN is a biennial international workshop that was previously hosted by USA, Germany, and Japan. The conference venue is located at the heart of Suwon, Korea (http://english.swcf.or.kr/). On behalf of the IWDN 2014 organizers, it is a pleasure to invite you to submit abstracts. IWDN2014 will highlight recent advances in Strongly Correlated Electron Systems, especially the dual nature of f & d-electrons. Major topics for the conference are strongly correlated f- & d-electrons, novel quantum phases and unconventional superconductivity, and new materials synthesis.
